Every ‘Lotus’ urn is manufactured from stainless steel (STST). The metal of the urn has an invisible oxide coating; the oxide layer. When this oxide layer has spread across the entire STST surface the oxidation process is complete and the underlying metal is protected from any external factors. In addition to protecting the urn the oxide layer also repairs damage such as scratches, which are sealed and closed again by the stainless steel layer. For the manufacturing of Lotus urns we only use high-grade STST 316, an alloy which can withstand attack by the elements, even by seawater.

Our Spiga chain necklaces are chosen to complement our pendant and ashes jewellery collections. The classic Spiga design features finely interwoven links, creating a slim and elegant chain approximately 1.5mm wide, ideal for smaller pendants and memorial charms.
Each necklace measures 16 inches (40cm) and is fitted with a secure lobster clasp for comfortable, everyday wear. Chains are available in Sterling Silver 925, 9ct Gold, 9ct White Gold, 18ct Gold, and 18ct White Gold.
For pendants crafted in 14ct Gold or 14ct White Gold, we recommend pairing them with a 9ct Spiga chain to achieve a balanced and cohesive finish.
If the funeral was arranged by a Ford Mears & Partners branch (including those operating under other trading names), fingerprints may already be held on file. Once your order is placed, we will check our records and contact you to confirm whether a suitable print is available.
If the funeral was not arranged by a Ford Mears & Partners branch, you are welcome to provide your own fingerprint. We accept clear, high-resolution files in JPEG or PDF format. Please note that engraving quality depends on the clarity of the image supplied, and while every care is taken, results may vary.
